Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the legal obligations of duty holders, including a project manager of a worksite, under the new WSH framework
  2. Perform the role and duty as Chairman of WSH Committee
  3. Plan and implement safety programme for construction activities including working at height, mechanical and electrical works, material handling, scaffolding and excavation
  4. Plan and implement an occupational health programme for construction activities
  5. Plan and implement risk management programme for all construction activities
  6. Establish the procedures for incident reporting and accident investigation
  7. Establish and implement Safety and Health Management System in worksite
  8. Plan and participate safety and health audit and review in worksite

 

 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Registration is based on a first-come-first-served basis. To confirm the registration, payment of the course fees must be made before the commencement date. QMT Industrial & Safety Pte Ltd reserves the right to decline a trainee from attending the class at its sole discretion.
Certificate / safety pass shall be issued within 7 days from the course completion date.
No certificate / safety pass will be issued unless full payment is received by QMT Industrial & Safety Pte Ltd before the course ends. An email notification will be sent once the Safety pass is ready for collection. Uncollected certificate/card within 3 months from the date of email notification will be destroyed. An administrative charge apply to re-printing of replacement certificate at $50 safety pass at $30/-. (Police report is required for lost certificate/card case.)
Trainee is reminded to attend class punctually. Full course fees will still be imposed if the trainee does not attend the class without prior notice.
Notice of replacement or withdrawal must be made in writing to QMT Industrial & Safety Pte Ltd subjected to the following:
1.     No administrative charge if notice of replacement reaches QMT Industrial & Safety Pte Ltd at least 3 working days before the course commencement date. Replacement of trainee is allowed only once.

2.     90% refund of course fees if notice of withdrawal reaches QMT Industrial & Safety Pte Ltd at least 2 weeks before the course commencement date.
3.     75% refund of course fees if notice of withdrawal reaches QMT Industrial & Safety Pte Ltd less than 2 weeks but more than 3 working days before the course commencement date.
4.     No refund of course fees if notice of withdrawal reaches QMT Industrial & Safety Pte Ltd 2 working days or less before the course commencement date.

ESS Workplace literacy and numeracy Level 6 and above or equivalence (Refer to www.wda.gov.sg)

Certification

The certificate will be awarded to the participant on successful completion of the course.

Weekday Classes : 4.5 Days
First Day : 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Second Day : 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Third Day : 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Fourth Day : 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Fifth Day : 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Evening Classes : 9 Days (Timing : 6:00pm-10:00pm)
Total Hours : 34 Hours (Theory - 30 Hours and Assessments - 4 Hours)
Section A and Section B (100 Marks each) | Passing Criteria: 75% of each Section.
Trainee must achieve 75% attendance for entire course to sit the exam.
